How will this affect me if I am enrolled in Medicare Part D?

If you are enrolled in Medicare Part D, payments using the OklahomaRx Card may count towards your true out-of-pocket expenses. Please contact your Part D plan for more information.

Are there other programs that can help me with prescription costs?

Pharmaceutical companies have special programs for low-income individuals and families. To find out if you qualify for one of these programs, please contact the Rx for Oklahoma Prescription Assistance Program at 1-877-794-6552 or visit their Web site at www.rx4okla.com.

How much will I save?

Discounts range from 10 to 55 percent, depending on what drugs you buy and where you buy them. To save money, choose generic drugs first. If you are taking a brand-name prescription, talk with your doctor about a possible generic or a covered nonprescription or over-the-counter (OTC) option. Often, a doctor can prescribe a less expensive, generic drug that works as well as the name-brand you are currently taking but at a significant discount.

How soon can I get my discount card?

A card will be mailed to you once your enrollment has been processed by CVS Caremark. Delivery can take up to seven to ten business days. If you do not receive your card within the timeframe, contact Customer Care toll-free at 1-800-511-7410.
